Title: Hell for Life: sentenced aged 5 years

Deep inside Potosi's notorious silver mine in Bolivia these boys are working to become members of the collective. They have a life expectancy of 35 years. They are earning around US$5 per week and do not eat during a twelve hour shift, relying on coca leaf stuffed into their cheeks to allay the pangs of hunger, to numb the insidious cold of altitude (4070 metres) and to alleviate fatigue.
